Hi! I'm a PhD candidate at LTI, School of Computer Science, CMU advised by Prof. Yiming Yang. My research lies in the areas of large language models, feedback-driven generation, and the intersection of code generation and natural language reasoning. An overarching theme of my research is the use of inference-time compute for enhanced reasoning. During my PhD, I've worked as a student researcher and collaborator with Google Brain and the Allen Institute of AI. Previously, I was a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle. Some links: hiking, recent readings, industry experience, projects, cv, blog (sparsely populated), and StackOverflow profile. Before CMU: I was a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle. I was fortunate to have Jagdish Chand as my manager at Oracle (and before that at Visa). I moved to the Bay Area in 2015 to work at Visa Inc. after finishing my Master's in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay. I was advised by an amazing set of mentors: Prof. Sunita Sarawagi, Prof. Mausam, and Prof. Ganesh for my Master's thesis on extracting numerical relations from text. |
