I work at xAI on improving the utility and capability of language models. I did my PhD at LTI, CMU with Yiming Yang, focusing on feedback-driven generation and inference-time compute (thesis).
Before CMU, I was a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, working with Jagdish Chand (also my manager earlier at Visa). I did my Master's at IIT Bombay with Sunita Sarawagi, Mausam, and Ganesh Ramakrishnan.
